DailyPost had sought his response to speculations in some quarters that the successor of ex-governor Peter Obi, was toning his skin.
“If I say your enquiry is a figment of some people’s imagination, then it would mean I am trying to give it a measure of credibility. Mr. Obiano is a man too far accomplished to tone his skin. In fact, his younger brother is lighter,” Eze said.
“The governor is a High Chief loved by his people; he is a man who preserves his culture and tradition so he cannot even do such. He works hard day and night, that the intensity is taking its toll on him. My boss doesn’t sleep; we are busy here day and night.
“And let me add that Anambra is probably the toughest state to govern because everyone is sophisticated. The people are too educated; they don’t want to hear excuses. So you have to work in terms of quality and quantity to their satisfaction.”
Speaking on yesterday’s outcome of the state Governorship Election Tribunal which dismissed a petition challenging Obiano’s election, Eze said the victory is for all Anambarians.
The aide called on the people to support the governor’s mission to create a socially stable business friendly environment that will attract both indigenes and foreigners to seek wealth creating opportunities.
“His 10-point agenda and 4-Cs, which are Continue, Complete, Commission and Commencement of new projects, will totally transform Anambra for good,” Eze added.
