Rihanna storms UK singles chart with her sixth number one, while One Direction could only manage third place


Rihanna has scored her sixth number one in the UK singles charts after her new song Diamonds entered in at first place on Sunday.

The Barbadian beauty’s new song toppled rapper Psy’s Gangnam Style off the top spot.

Surprisingly, One Direction’s Live While We’re Young landed in at third place.

In the album charts Muse scored the top spot with their record The 2nd Law – knocking Mumford And Sons’ Babel to second place.

The Truth About Love by Pink remained in third place, while The Killers stayed in fourth spot with Battle Born.

Emeli Sande jumped two places from seven with Our Version Of Events to round out the top five.
