The duo who are not in the team’s Nuremberg, Germany training camp were named alongside 19 other players for the tournament by Garba who released his final squad yesterday.
Both Iheanacho and Success could not join up with the Flying Eagles in training camp in Germany, and they will now meet the team in New Zealand.
Thirteen of the players who made the final squad to the African Youth Championship made the final World Cup party.
Pyagbara, who featured at the last U20 World Cup in Turkey two years ago, was the biggest omission to New Zealand. The Dolphins striker has been capped at full international level by Nigeria.
Others who did not make it include Abdullahi Alfa, Abdullahi Ibrahim Alhassan ‘Muazam’ and Samuel Okon.
