The 50-year-old actor, who last hosted the awards ceremony in 2005, is in talks to host again in 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The ceremony is set to take place on Feb. 28, and is being co-produced by Reginald Hudlin, who worked with Rock on the pilot of his sitcom, Everybody Hates Chris, which ran for four seasons.

Rock joined this season of Empire, and also produced Amy Schumer’s HBO stand-up special, which just aired.
