Sequel to the postponement of The African Global DJ Awards from 4 May to 13 July, the Award preparation for the event set to hold at the Sandton Convention Centre in Sandton, Johannesburg, SA is back in top gear.
The organizers of the show are set to launch a re-vamped social media campaign that appreciates African DJs, the fans and the media.
Due to the postponement, the voting is set to reopen again on 17 June and close on 10 July for three weeks leading up to the main Award on 13 July, 2013.
The awards ceremony, African Global DJ Awards, was created to recognize and celebrate the talent of the greatest DJs in Africa and the maiden edition will be hosted by TV presenter Lerato Kganyago and Ugandan rapper Navio.
Acts billed to light up the night include DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Oskido, DJ Tbo Touch, DJ Humility, DJ Caise, Dj Xclusive, DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Black, DJ Kess, Tear Gas, Navio, Efya, Olamide, Phyno, M.I., Duncan Mighty, AKA, MAN and a host of other acts.
Awards will be presented by D’Banj, Chris Mapane, Nollywood Actress Tonto Dike, Weza Solange, Ghanaian Actress Yvonne Nelson, Channel O’s Denrele Edun and a host of other dignitaries.
